POWDER METAL FABRICATION
Custom powder metal fabrication is our specialty. We manufacture parts from ferrous and non-ferrous powder metals. Part sizes vary from sub-gram to 500 grams per part. By investing in the latest technology, we can produce PM components with a high degree of complexity and configuration.
POWDER METAL TOOLING
Quality tooling is essential for efficiently manufacturing quality PM components. We design all of our new tools for custom parts in house. Our Journeyman Toolmakers have a combined experience of over 100 years and manufacture a majority of our tooling.
DESIGN & ENGINEERING
Sintered Sterling Technologies has extensive experience in the design, material selection, fabrication, and tooling for powder metal parts. Our team of extremely talented engineers are well equipped to optimize PM part design and cost efficiencies for our customers. They will work with you to find the best ways to reduce costs and ensure the finished product will meet your requirements.
SECONDARY PROCESSES
To complement our main powder metal fabrication capabilities, Sterling Sintered also offers several secondary services for finishing your powder metal parts. These include services that we have in house, as well as services done through vetted third-party partners. To complete the products we fabricate for you, we offer secondary services such as heat treatment, stream oxidizing, copper infiltration, several types of machining, platings and coatings, vibratory deburring, oil impregnation, resin impregnation, and assembly.
COMPONENT ASSEMBLY
To help reduce your costs and manufacturing time, our team can also provide you with assembly and subassembly services. All of our assembly services follow an ISO 9001-2015 registered quality management system.
