PROCESS DEVELOPMENT
|
|
At Sterling Sintered, process development and quality
control planning are performed simultaneously as an integral part of
how we assure you a continuous supply of parts conforming to your
requirements. It starts with a Process Control Plan which
orchestrates the system. The critical characteristics of your
part are tolerance charted to assure that we start with the correct
parameters to get conforming results. |
 |
| Quality Control Instructions
are for each internal fabrication. These revision controlled
documents specify the level of statistical controls required for
each control characteristic. External operations are
controlled with Outside Service Prints that we develop for your
part. Once controls are planned, custom tooling is designed
and fabricated for your component. Process feasibility and
capability assessment is performed prior to production. Then a
full layout inspection is performed and submitted for your
approval. |
